In this position you will directly coordinate revenue processing at a large park that welcomes over 200,000 visitors annually to our campgrounds, day use beach and picnic areas. If you excel in fast paced, team environment on the front line workforce, and can provide clerical, general accounting and administrative services then this is the opportunity for you!

What can I expect to do in this role?

In this role, you will:
• Provide leadership and training with respect to revenue receiving, reconciliation and audit functions
• Provide human resources/benefits/payroll clerical support;
• Perform general clerical duties and provide customer service
• Coordinate the registration of visitors to the park and staff training and orientation programs

How do I qualify?

Mandatory requirements:

• You possess a valid driver's licence.
• You have the ability to obtain an Emergency First Aid certificate.

Organizational and Analytical Skills:

• You have organizational and prioritization skills to manage a variety of different tasks with conflicting deadlines.
• You have analytical skills to ensure the accuracy of typed material, including grammar, syntax, content and terminology.

Technical knowledge:

• You have knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, directives and guidelines associated with human resources, pay and benefits, revenue reconciliation, purchasing, as well as applicable collective agreements.
• You have knowledge of Provincial Parks & Regulations, Operating Procedures & applicable Park & Corporate Policies/Procedures.
• You have knowledge of office practices and general clerical processes.
• You are aware of park programs, services and activities.
• You are aware of responsibilities as outlined in the OH&S Act.

Skills:

• You are able to interpret and apply directives, agreements and legislation.
• You possess proven reasoning and problem solving skills and the ability to act with tact and diplomacy.
• You have strong communication to work harmoniously with staff and park visitors.
• You possess strong organizational skills to deal with multiple demands.
• You are able to use a variety of office equipment and perform minor repairs.
• You have arithmetic skills to reconcile revenues, balance payments and to maintain up-to-date accounts and related files.
