Full-Time Term Appointment until February 13, 2026
Reporting to the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Architecture, the successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and delivering weekly laboratory sessions for assigned biology courses. Key responsibilities include ensuring that students conduct experiments safely, managing class lists, recruiting and coordinating the work of teaching assistants, overseeing the grading of lab reports, and entering grades into Desire2Learn. The role also involves collaborating with faculty members in the creation and revision of lab experiments. Additionally, the candidate must adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, its regulations, and the University's Health and Safety Policies.
The official University hours of operation shall be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, during, and including, the months from September to April, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Monday through Friday during and including May to August., amounting to thirty-three and three-quarter (33.75) hours per week.
