Here is what you will be doing:
As a member of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), the Analyst, EPMO carries out supportive functions that advance the delivery of strategic projects. As an action-oriented resource on the project team, the Analyst helps complete tasks and project deliverables in a timely and organized fashion. Reporting to the Director, EPMO, the Analyst is a member of a broader project team and contributes to the completion of tasks and is comfortable taking responsibility for drafting project materials and documentation.
The Analyst will support a project leader (Project Manager, Director, or other OH Lead) in completion of project deliverables. The Analyst will also play a key role in monitoring timely completion of tasks and activities to help ensure project delivery remains on time, within budget and scope.
Here is what you will need to be successful:
Complete thorough and timely project analysis and reporting, aligning with EPMO standards
Support development of project deliverables, including project management artifacts such as detailed project plans, charters, issues and risk logs, action item tracking and minute taking
Managing the completion of assigned deliverables and milestones within the project or initiative
Support project governance and committee structures, ensuring meetings are scheduled, agenda and materials are in place and actions are followed up and closed off in a timely manner
Monitor adherence to project schedules; track and reports on project progress
Populate tools and templates to support consistent information collection and documentation
Work independently to proactively prepare for meetings and develop materials with minimal guidance from the project lead
Provide data collection, analysis, and visualizations to support the development and reporting of project evaluation frameworks
Support development of high-quality project documentation that is clearly articulate the objectives, scope and targeted outcomes
Engage subject matter experts and leaders from across the various portfolios, as well as external stakeholders as required to advance the project
Assist in the development of information and communication materials that support the timely execution of the project
Education and Experience
Undergraduate Degree required, preferably in Business, Health, Administration, or another relevant discipline.
A Masters Level Degree in these fields would be an asset.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an asset
A minimum of two (2) years' experience in project or program management role
Work experience in health care is a strong asset.
Knowledge and Skills
Proven ability in project management, with strong time management and organizational skills
Proven ability to develop high quality, clear and succinct products (e.g., presentations, reports, briefing notes, workplans) for multiple audiences
Proven ability to work independently
Must be detail-oriented with strong problem solving, critical thinking, and negotiating skills
Experience with developing project documentation (plans, charters, tracking logs, etc.)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting concepts and project related work clearly
Strong MS Office proficiency and experience building Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint documents
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and the creation of visualizations primarily in Excel
Location: Ontario (currently hybrid; subject to change)
