The team at Johnstone Periodontics located in Toronto, Ontario is looking for a passionate, hard-working Certified Dental Assistant on a part-time permanent basis.

The ideal CDA for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.

We are a busy, fun and drama-free Periodontal clinic looking for a PART-TIME (2-3 days/week) dental assistant. NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS!!!

SCHEDULE:

• 16-24 hours per week
• Days of the week (Tuesday's, Wednesday's or Thursday's and/or Friday's)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Completion of a Dental Assisting Level II
• Registered or in process of registering with the:
  • Ontario Dental Assistant Association
• New graduates welcome
• We are also open to those licensed in other Canadian province(s)
• 1 year of experience is preferred
• Experience with dental practice management software such as OptiMicro DentalWare is considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Customer service mindset
