Access Independent Living Services provides services for people with physical support needs to be able to live independently in the community. Access Independent Living Services is a nonprofit organisation and a proud champion of promoting accessibility for people with disabilities.  

They respect and encourage autonomy by offering a full range of services to support independent living by our consumers.  These include personal care, non-personal assistance, housekeeping and routine maintenance of equipment.

To develop these services, AILS is now recruiting for a senior role.

Director, Attendant Services

$85,000 to $95,000

The Director of Attendant Services (DAS) will be responsible for overseeing and managing operations and programs which deliver support services to adults with physical disabilities. You’ll lead the Operational Management Team consisting of Program Managers and Program Supervisors.

The ideal candidate for this role will have relevant qualifications and ten years relevant experience in the Community Support Services or Attendant Services Sector.  You’ll have worked on the “frontline” and gained a good understanding of the issues and challenges experienced by these sectors.  With up to ten direct reports, you’ll be an assured and collaborative manager.
