The Lead, HR Systems and Analytics is responsible for managing the full cycle on multiple Workday HCM modules supporting various HR functional mandates. The role will continually partner with HR team to lead / support the development and implementation of HR technology strategies and methodologies where meet the business needs.
Here is what you will be doing:
Provides Workday HR subject matter functional expertise for day-to-day support and development including business process design, data transmission (EIB), testing and other troubleshooting activities
Provides subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and partner with HR functional leads to understand pain points, prioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency by leveraging Workday functionality
Leads technical execution on HCM project and deliverables for upcoming initiatives such as Talent Development and Advanced Compensation
Participates in design sessions and contributes potential solution options to Director for informative configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the current business requirements
Works closely with IT Workday product team on all harmonization projects and testing support; Acts as the point of escalation where issues cause greater impact
Works closely with the Payroll and Benefits team to ensure HCM feeds accurately to Payroll and to Benefit integrations, resolve and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues
Maintains HR data integrity within and across systems, conduct system audits and reconcile discrepancies with other functional areas to ensure data accuracy
Assists with bi-annual releases, including analysis of impacts of new functionality and cross functional analysis
Maintains awareness of Workday future releases / roadmap and the potential impact of those plans on current and future Workday functionality
Leads and provides HCM user support through documentation, developing and facilitating training, and creating supporting materials and reports, as required
Here is what you will need to be successful:
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent post-secondary education) in Science / Human Resources or related field
5 to 7 years' experience in Workday, with broad understanding of Workday cross-functional touchpoints and their impacts within the Workday platforms
Workday Pro certification in one or multiple HCM modules, preferable in Talent / Performance Review and Advanced Compensation; or related experience
Proven experience in designing and prototyping, testing and implementing practical HR business solutions
Well-versed in HR reporting and metrics, management dashboards and Workday analytics
Proficiency in report writing and database management
Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain data integrity within, and across systems, conduct system audits and reconcile discrepancies with other functional areas to ensure data accuracy
Solid understanding of Human Resources processes and procedures with a broad knowledge of all aspects of human resources management systems
Knowledge of HR operations and continuous process improvement initiatives
Ability to identify issues, apply judgment to find proactive solutions within our HR system
Proven consultative skills to guide internal team discussions to agreement of solutions in a timely manner
Excellent communication, interpersonal and client-servicing skills
Exceptional attention to details, analytical, critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution
Strong organizational and multi-tasking ability to meet short-term needs while at the same time building a plan and systems for future needs
