Job Summary
As an integral member of Pharmacy Services, the Pharmacy Manager III is responsible for maintaining and managing responsibility for the daily operations (including the effective and efficient delivery of exemplary patient-centred care in all matters related to medications including drug distribution in an environment that supports teaching and research) for the assigned sites in collaboration with departmental objectives, including performing operational and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient and effective functioning of Pharmacy services within scope of departmental objectives; hiring, firing, supervising, and discipline of assigned site specific staff; supervising finance related activities to ensure an efficient and effective financial operation; coordinating professional development of assigned staff to ensure excellence in the provision of pharmacy services; performing cross-functional responsibilities, as required; performing other duties and responsibilities consistent with the job classification.
