We are the Pharmacy Consulting team at TELUS Health and are looking for someone like you to work with us to grow the TELUS Health business, shape new exciting services and drive process improvement across various clinical services programs.

You'll be joining the Pharmacy Consulting team to support the growth of our pharmaceutical manufacturer partnerships and engagement strategy, as well as clinical programs and services.

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team, who is a highly motivated self-starter with an engaging and driven personality. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Product Listing Agreements (PLA) strategy execution, project management, and process improvement. This candidate will work closely with our team of health economists, pharmacists and business analysts, as well as, clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that align with our client's business objectives and our growth targets for the PLA program, while supporting negotiations.

You will proactively engage with customers and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and manage collaborative relationships with numerous internal and external stakeholders to support program delivery. This role will support the execution of the PLA program with clinical expertise, analytics, negotiation support and operational execution.   • Leverage clinical expertise and knowledge of pharmacy benefit management experience to support negotiations for Price List agreements
  • Ability to use your experience to take initiative in troubleshooting, allowing you to effectively and efficiently identify problems and apply appropriate solutions
  • Produces high quality deliverables and assignments with direction from senior levels to collect, analyze and effectively communicate data
  • Consistently delivers high quality work, meeting internal quality expectation and receiving high satisfaction rates
  • Monitor cost, schedule and technical performance of component projects and operations
  • Ability to develop strategic plans including business, financial and clinical program/product strategies
  • Good customer relationship skills and accomplishes the following with guidance: managing expectations, communication, risk management, and effectively interface with working teams and director level management
  • Proactively adapting to meet the changing needs of our customers
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting and forecasting to clients and stakeholders

  • Solid understanding of pharmacy and pharmaceutical landscapes and program offerings within the pharmacy benefit management industry

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. required
  • Licensed Pharmacist in relevant jurisdiction
  • 5+ years of experience in a Pharmacy Benefit Management Industry and/or PLA negotiations
  • Experience with project management and process improvement
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) including Microsoft Excel proficiency is an asset

Advanced knowledge of English is required, because you will, most of the time, interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.), interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.), as part of this position's main responsibilities, given its national scope.
