Job Summary:
As an integral member of the FM-PRO Department, the PROJECT MANAGER works as part of a team and leads and coordinates capital project activities under the direction of the Manager, FM-PRO - Planning and Integration.
We are looking for a member to join the team in the planning and development of a New Patient Tower at the Toronto Western Hospital. This brand new 15-floor tower will compose of Surgical Services, ICU, In-Patient Units, Pharmacy, and a Medical Device Reprocessing Department. In collaboration with subject matter and technical experts, you will lead and manage the activities of the project team to ensure the successful participation of project stakeholders and the delivery of the project on-time, on-budget, and within identified scope.
You should be a highly organized individual with background and experience with leading and supporting healthcare capital projects, especially Ministry of Health (MOH) capital projects, where there is planning of multi-divisional, complex, construction projects with numerous dependencies with other projects or initiatives. You will be responsible for managing various project tasks such as equipment planning and procurement; coordination with ICAT teams on technology integration and setup of end user devices; and operational readiness planning including process flow development for clinical care and facilities support. Knowledge of the Construction Management CCDC-5B project delivery model will be an asset.
