Hours: 37.5 hours a week
Salary: between $80,000 - $90,000 annually (To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy)
Shifts: Day shift
Status: Permanent Full-Time

The Comprehensive Ovarian Tumors Program (COTP), Gynecology Oncology Department, at University Health Network (UHN) is looking for an experienced professional to join their team and fill the key role of Project Supervisor.

The COTP program within UHN was built around three pillars: Data, Research and Excellence in Patient Care. Within the program we collect metrics on all aspects of the patient journey. The program allows for us to conduct "cutting edge" research and at the clinical level provides a "concierge like" care pathway.

Position Summary

The team is small but motivated. Given the busy nature of practice of the clinicians, the role of Project Supervisor is critical to the fulfillment of the mandates of the program. We are searching for someone with experience in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously. This individual would be instrumental in designing and implementing future initiatives.

The roles of the Project Supervisor would include but not limited to:

  • Design and develop program initiatives
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Managing the finance of the program including:
  • Coordination of philanthropic activities
  • Management of budget and financial disbursements

The coordinator will work closely with the team members and part of the position will include:

  • Preparing detailed presentations with key metrics
  • Ensuring timely meetings with all team members
  • Critical thinker with proven ability quickly and accurately respond in highly stressful scenarios
  • In depth knowledge of operations within healthcare and/or hospital setting

Qualifications

  • Completion of Bachelor's degree in a scientific, or business discipline, or recognized equivalent is required. Ideally, a minimum of 5 years experience in a health related field
  • Interest in hospital administration
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism and accountability
  • Ability to work well under pressure and use good judgement in assessing and responding to challenging situations and with competing demands
  • Outstanding customer service skills, and ability to interact with, engage, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders including physicians, leaders, and employees from across UHN, and external partners
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proven ability to research and summarize information for different audiences
  • Ability to produce high quality work in accordance with UHN standards
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills - scheduling, planning, coordinating, time management and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written, and multimedia communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Teams, Zoom, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Experience with meeting or event design and logistics
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
  • Experience in supervisory/managerial role an asset
