The team at Thornhill Family Smiles Dental located in Thornhill, Ontario looking for a passionate, hard-working Registered Dental Hygienist on a part-time basis.

We believe in creating a calm collaborative and positive environment in which our patients can feel at ease. The warmth of our team has allowed us to create strong and trusting relationships over the years with our patients. The ideal Registered Dental Hygienist for our team will be highly motivated to educate patients on preventative dental care and oral hygiene, as well as empower them in their commitment to good oral health by developing treatment plans and home care routines tailored towards the patients' needs. At Thornhill Family Smiles, we provide gentle, compassionate care in an environment that is always respectful and welcoming.

We are looking for an experienced hygienist with a friendly and professional disposition to work Wednesdays. This individual must be hard working with good communication skills and a team player. IPAC protocols are strictly followed and expected. Our office has been newly renovated and we focus on maintaining a fun yet professional work environment. Our staff go above and beyond to support our patients and each other in our practice.

• 8 hours per week
• Wednesdays

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Currently registered or in process of registering with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)
• New graduates welcome!
• 2 years of experience is preferred
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Abeldent is considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Customer service mindset
