Registered Nurse Hemodialysis (Job ID: 8973)
Qualifications include:
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current BLS Certificate required.
- Recent Haemodialysis experience required. Candidates without recent Haemodialysis experience may be considered if they have completed at minimum Nephrology I or equivalent, of the Nephrology Nursing Certificate and there are no qualified applicants.
- Nephrology Nursing Certificate preferred. Enrolled in Nephrology Nursing Certificate program upon hire with successful completion required within 3 years may be substituted if there are no qualified applicants preferred.
- Experience with Windows 2000 and computer order entry an asset.
- Knowledge of Baxter dialysis equipment an advantage
- Excellent assessment skills required.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Satisfactory attendance record.
Hours of Work: Must be available for all three shifts, 8 and 12 hours shifts (days/evenings) including weekends and holidays at the main hospital site and off site satellite unit. On call as required.
