Registered Nurse ICU Surgical Stepdown (Job ID: 7167)
St. Joseph's Health Centre currently has an exciting opportunity to join our critical care team as a Registered Nurse in Surgical Stepdown.
In this position, you will use your expertise in caring for surgical patients to provide a higher level of care in a level 2 environment with a reduced bed to nurse ratio of 2:1. Qualifications include:
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- A minimum of 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience is required with a preference for candidates who have surgical experience.
- Current BLS
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate within an inter-professional team.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education.
- Ability to be well organized and flexible.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Satisfactory attendance record.
