Purpose

The Senior Manager, Digital Payment Projects contributes to the overall success of the Payment Products for CCA (Central America & Caribbean) Region in International Banking ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. The Senior Manager, is primarily responsible for leading and project managing the execution and implementation of new and enhanced payment technologies across the region.

What You'll Do:

Responsible for leading and implementing payment related strategies designed to simplify and improve the payment customer experience.

Lead projects as Business owner and/or product lead from start to finish including new payments initiatives, enhancements or regulatory projects for the CCA region, achieving their budget and timeline goals.

Lead the creation of business requirements/user stories, prioritization, project management, and tech funding requests for these projects.

Leads and develops short- and long-term strategies in collaboration and alignment with senior management and CCA executive team.

Drive collaboration across the payment channels to improve the customer experience, obtain and achieve strategic goals and revenue objectives.

Influence and collaborate with IB Senior Management, Country Management, and various IB Departments to garner support for the execution and implementation of new products, products enhancements and programs.

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

Work and Lead sessions with strategic third party partners, including major networks such as Visa, Mastercard and AMEX, (Technology, Operations, Digital Factory and Systems, Riks, Fraud, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Cards Products) to optimize our expense associated with the platforms, and will lead initiatives to drive down direct expenses from their platforms while maintaining the highest level of quality and ongoing innovation.

Drive collaboration across the payment channels to improve the customer experience and reduce complexity (Digital Factory, Contact Center, Operations, Finance, Internal Controls, etc.)

What You'll Bring:

3 - 5 years of experience with Payment's ecosystems (Credit and Debit Cards (secured and unsecured)) business products.

Must have 3 - 5 years of experience in project management

Project Management Certification is an asset.

Tokenization acknowledge is a plus

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, must be able to appropriately convey ideas, concerns and opinions across differing levels of management

Must be pro-active, enthusiastic, flexible, results driven with attention to detail

Highly organized individual - demonstrates a bias for action and a commitment to achieving sustainable results. Makes timely and fact based decisions.

Excellent understanding and knowledge of Project Management discipline

Must be proactive, self-starter and capable of learning new ways of doing things.

Excellent organizational skills, relationship management, communication, and problem solving.

Delivery-oriented, and demonstrated ability for stakeholder facilitation, collaboration in cross-functional teams

Comfortable with ambiguity and working with rapidly changing deadlines.

Work Arrangement:

Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
