Temporary position until approximately February 2026
Seeking a highly-motivated physiotherapist or chiropractor interested in working with an array of orthopedic injuries (including concussion) to join our growing team at the Woodstock Rehabilitation Clinic. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a mixed caseload of clients with the majority coming directly from surgeon referrals as part of the WSIB specialty program. Opportunity to work in a team alongside various allied health professionals, highly skilled orthopedic surgeons, sport medicine physicians and specialists. This is a unique chance to work in a private orthopedic setting but still be under the hospital organization. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to spend a substantial amount of time with each client while also receiving excellent support from our kinesiology staff. Clinic hours are optimal at 7-6:30, Monday-Friday, making work-life balance a priority. Qualifications
• Licensed with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario or College of Chiropractors of Ontario
• Ability to work within an interprofessional team
• Excellent assessment and treatment skills in soft tissue/post-operative orthopedic conditions and neurological in outpatient settings is preferred
• Experience with WSIB, MVA and mTBI an asset
• Attention to detail with accurate recording and reporting skills
• Excellent team player with superior communication skills
• Innovative and enthusiastic
• Ability to motivate and be sympathetic, yet positive and client-centered in all interactions with patients.
• Have a thorough understanding of confidentiality and patient dignity
• Demonstrate self-directed carry-through of patient care activities
• Initiative, good problem solving and communication skills are necessary
• Good understanding of safety; individual and patient-related
• Satisfactory attendance for internal applicants
• Commitment to Service Excellence
• Satisfactory vulnerable person’s sector criminal background check.
