Qualifications

-Current Certificate of Competence as an R.P.N.
-Current CPR Certificate.
-IV initiation and maintenance skills required.
-Experience in Medical/Surgical nursing within the past year essential.
-Able to administer medications.
-Satisfactory performance appraisal in current position and attendance if internal applicant.
-Documented commitment to continuing education through inservice, staff meetings and self-motivated learning.
-Commitment to Service Excellence.
-Good working knowledge of patient focused care in an acute care setting.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Demonstrated problem solving skills.
-Satisfactory vulnerable person's sector criminal background check.
-Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence.
