Qualifications
Current RN Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
BScN required or actively pursuing
Minimum 5 years active experience in Emergency nursing required
Current ACLS, BCLS,CTAS,eCTAS, PALS, TNCC certification, NVCI required
Proficient in all aspects of ED nursing including competence and certification in (or actively pursuing) preferred
- ENPC
- NRP
Experience with adult education with capability to be a resource to staff required
Excellent critical thinking/ effective problem solving skills required.
Superior leadership/communication skills with capacity to build strong teams and sustain positive team spirit required
Excellent conflict resolution skills required
Lean methodology process knowledge/ certification preferred
Excellent understanding of Emergency processes and flow
