-Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent
-Preference given to applicants with experience in a Health Record Department
-Knowledge of Cerner applications
-Experience with the Inquiry EsOne dictation system and InVision reports
-Experience with Quantitative and Qualitative analysis of patient charts
-Experience in processing circle of care release of information requests
-Excellent organizational skills
-Excellent time management skills
-Computer skills are essential
-Excellent communication skills are mandatory
-Knowledge of medical terminology
-Demonstrated ability to deal congenially with a variety of people and operate efficiently with minimal supervision
-Knowledge of filing methods, record keeping, and transcription would be an asset
-Ability to handle confidential information with tact and diplomacy
-Commitment to Patient Care & Safety and Service Excellence
-Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization (2 or more doses)
