About the role
As a Mental Health Facilitator, you have the opportunity to invest in the development of Intact leaders, creating meaningful change to advance Intact's commitments to employee well-being.

In this role, you will report to the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Well-Being, as part of a mighty team of experts in these domains. At Intact, we're committed to providing our leaders with the tools and knowledge they need to support their teams effectively. You'll be responsible for delivering workplace our in-house developed mental health training to leaders across the organization. we developed in-house because we believe investing in workplace mental health is a critical component of overall well-being and organizational success. We're committed to providing our leaders with the tools and knowledge they need to support their teams effectively. Facilitating interactive workshops nationally will give meaningful insights into the experiences of leaders across our business to drive the creation of longer-term training activities. Your expertise in workplace mental health will allow you to navigate complex discussions and support for leaders with care.
What you'll do here:
Facilitate Intact's Mental Health Leadership training nationally, helping leaders build awareness and behaviours to support the mental health of their team.
Create a learning environment that fosters open and supportive learning.
Encourage active participation and discussion among leaders to enhance understanding and application of mental health concepts.
Provide one-on-one coaching and support to leaders and/or HR on mental health-related issues challenges within their teams.
Offer guidance on creating a psychologically safe workplace and promoting mental well-being among team members.
Collaborate with the Sr. Mental Health Consultant to assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics.
Contribute to a community of practice supporting continuous improvement of training content and delivery based on participant feedback and evolving organizational needs.
Provide expertise and act as an advisor in matters related to workplace mental health and well-being.
Execute communication, processes and programs to de-stigmatize mental health challenges and encourage early access to supports.
Identify and act on opportunities to address the mental health and well-being needs of equity-deserving groups.
What you bring to the table:
Post-secondary degree/diploma education in areas such as Organizational Psychology, Workplace Wellness, Health Promotion, or equivalent.
Certification in mental health first aid, peer support, coaching, or related areas.
Proven experience in designing and delivering mental health training programs, preferably in a corporate setting.
Strong understanding of organizational psychology principles and their application in the workplace.
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence leaders at all levels.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Ability to manage, prioritize and reprioritize multiple tasks and initiatives with a focus on desired end-state.
