Tasks
Install, program, and test access control systems, home automation systems, surveillance cameras, and intercoms.
Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of properties to determine the best locations for security systems.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues with alarm systems.
Repair and maintain existing systems to ensure their efficiency.
Provide explanations and demonstrations to clients regarding the functionality and maintenance of systems.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
Coordinate the work of an apprentice technician.
Perform any other related tasks.

ASP health and safety cards.
CCQ skill card as a 220 or 222 trade companion.
Private Security Bureau card (or be eligible to apply for one).
Significant experience in security system installation.
Valid driver's license.
Knowledge of installation, programming, and troubleshooting systems.
Experience on large construction sites.
Proficiency in reading technical manuals, plans, and diagrams.
Bilingualism is an asset.
