The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), South East Area invite applicants to apply for the position of family physician in a rural family medicine practice in the town of Broadview. The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team providing primary health care services to the community of Broadview and surrounding area and will work collaboratively with other medical professionals to support the acute care and emergency services in the area.
This practice offers a full range of services, which would include admitting privileges and access to the area's primary health care resources such as home care, mental health and addictions, chronic disease management, public health, etc. Acute care referral services are available in the city of Regina which is approximately 90 minutes away.
The SHA is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the educational needs of medical students, residents, nursing staff and allied health professionals. The successful candidate will be encouraged to become involved in the academic efforts in the Department of Family Medicine in our area.
