Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Primary Health Care, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) will provide Primary Health Care Services to the clients/patients seeking service at their Primary Health Care Site, Long Term Care Rounds and other services as determined by the community and program needs. This may include, but is not limited to health assessments, health promotion and education, and treatments. This collaboration includes other health care professionals and providers daily for patient safety, community development, clinical practice redesign, quality improvement and ongoing evaluations. Knowledge and skill in assessment, treatment and education related to sexual health.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
