Job Description: The Nurse B - Registered Nurse is accountable for assisting the Community Health Services Manager (CHSM) during the day shift in assessing, planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating to facilitate the operations of the facility.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Nursing diploma is acceptable

Competencies

  • Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to take initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Creative problem solving in an open and resourceful manner
  • Ability to competently use computers and software applications
  • Ability to apply research to clinical practice
  • High level accuracy/attention to detail required in all aspects of this position
  • Excellent management, leadership, organizational and decision making skills
  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated successful supervision of staff
