Job Description: Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care. Active participation in the model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology and patient family centered care. Responsible for promoting organizational mission, vision and values by providing safe quality nursing care to clients.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Nursing diploma is acceptable

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Demonstration of efficiency and a calm manner in providing nursing services
  • Possess effective communication skills with the ability to relate to individuals
  • Demonstrate empathy/concern & interest in providing care for home care clients
  • Ability to deal with clients in their homes and adapt to frequent changes

Other Information

  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • Creighton is located approximately 2 km south of Flin Flon
