Hiring Manager:
Cupar & District Nursing Home Inc. is a level 3 and 4 long term care facility located approximately 45 northeast of Regina, Saskatchewan comprised of 48 private resident care rooms. Shalom is an Affiliate of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) with its own set facility philosophy and values. Although a separate employer from the SHA and governed by its own board, the SHA and 'Shalom' are with the goal of ensuring appropriate services for individuals with long term care needs. As an Affiliate partner, the facility sets the program direction with the SHA providing the operating funding, but is an interactive partnership. Cupar & District Nursing Home Inc. is also known as 'SHALOM'. This name was chosen to characterize the wishes of all the sponsoring towns, municipalities and villages, for all residents who will call this their home. Shalom is both a welcome and a farewell. It was the greeting of Jesus to all mankind (touching the very root of the person). The word 'Shalom' is used as a wish for hope, rest, kindness and love. |
