Job Description: Provides personal care and social/recreation/leisure activities to enhance the physical and emotional well-being of clients/patients/residents.

Experience

  • Six (6) months experience in health care

Education

  • Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)

Competencies

  • Communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Basic - Computer skills

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to work with special needs clients/patients/residents
  • Ability to work independently

Other Information

  • Must be available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period. Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable.
  • Valid driver's license, where required
