Job Description: TThe Home Care Nurse will be responsible to provide Home Care nursing services, assessment, health promotion and health education to clients on Cote First Nation and Keeseekoose First Nation Reserves. The Home Care Nurse will support clients to attain their optimum level of independence. The Home Care Nurse will follow the Scope of Practice of their regulatory body, as defined by SRNA.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable

Competencies

  • Basic - Organizational skills
  • Basic - Communication skills
  • Basic - Interpersonal skills
  • Basic - Decision making skills

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
