The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking three family physicians to provide 0.8FTE physician services in the Kindersley Primary Health Care Clinic located in the Town of Kindersley.
The Kindersley Medical Practice includes all aspects of family medicine including internal medicine, obstetrics (caesarian sections), pediatrics, anesthetics, emergency room call and surgery. Visiting services include general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT and psychiatry.
Physicians will provide patient care and on call emergency coverage. This Physician will work closely with nurses, and other members of the health care team to meet the specific needs of this community and its surrounding area.
The SHA requires on-site physician coverage for the emergency room on a 24-hour basis, 7 days per week, 365 days per year at the Kindersley and District Health Centre

This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care. The candidate will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). Successful applicants will be eligible for a provisional or regular license to practice in Saskatchewan. Applicants will also hold ACLS certification. In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.
Candidates with Obstetrical and/or Anesthesia training are preferred.
