Job Description: Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care. Active participation in the model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology and patient family centered care. Responsible for promoting organizational mission, vision and values by providing safe quality nursing care to clients.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

  • Professional Assault Response Training (PART)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) training
  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP)
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
