Job Description: Under the direction of the Director of Rural Health, the Health Services Manager is responsible for the day to day operations and supervision of staff at the long term care Health Facility. The Health Services Manager is also accountable for the overall planning, budgeting, coordination and impementation of health services at the long term care Health Facility to ensure quality health services are provided in an efficient and effective manner.

Experience

  • Experience in leadership
  • 5+ years experience in healthcare organization and community health service

Education

  • Bachelor of Administration (BAdmin)
  • Health Care Administration diploma
  • Nursing diploma

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
  • Undergraduate degree in Health or Social Sciences
  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Leadership training
