Job Description:

Performs a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Specialty disciplines are: Mammography, Angiography (IR), Computerized Tomography

Experience

  • Two (2) years experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist

Education

  • Medical Radiologic Technology diploma (MRT)

Licenses

  • Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Registered with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Registered College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan

Memberships

  • Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT)
  • Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)

Other Education and Training

  • Computerized Tomography training/certificate, as required
  • Drug administration and intravenous injection training, where required
  • Mammography training/certificate, as required
  • Angiography training/certificate, as required
  • Mammography/Angiography/Computerized Tomography training, where required
