Job Description:

Public health nursing provides services that include postnatal care; childhood, school, and adult immunizations; client and staff education/orientation; influenza programming; communicable disease follow-up; and travel health services. This position will include a work assignment of a subset of these services. Required Qualifications Continued: One (1) year of public health experience required. In the absence of a qualified candidate, the employer would be willing to consider a candidate with equivalent experience relevant to the work which might include but not be limited to home care, labour and delivery, postpartum, pediatrics, community health or primary health. This is a regional position currently based out of Lloydminster. Lactation certification may be required.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Nursing diploma is acceptable

  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA)
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
