Job Classification: Environmental/Laundry Services Worker

Department: Housekeeping/Laundry Status: Relief - no guaranteed hours

Pay Grade: As per CUPE/SAHO contract No of Positions: 2 positions

Availability Required: 50% of full time

Position Description: Under the direction of the Administrator, the Environmental/Laundry Services Worker is responsible for providing a clean and sanitary environment for clients, staff and visitors and performs resident laundry services. The Job will include proper use of floor maintenance equipment, cleaning procedures, handling of cleaning products and hazardous waste and familiarity of the facility and district/facility/department policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Grade X education.

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Closing Date for Applications: December 4, 2024

FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES:

Shifts - 8.0 hour and 4.0 hour shifts - days, weekends, statutory holidays.
