Job Description: Provides direct client care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The General Duty Nurse is responsible and accountable for the provision of safe client care services and programs. The main focus of this position is in the area of Operating Room, Emergency Room, and Ambulatory Care Services including Pre-Admission Clinic, Day Surgery, Endoscopy and Post-Anesthetic Care. The incumbent will be required to float to other areas as directed. In-charge duties as required. Job description is available upon request.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Perioperative course is required
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Perioperative Nursing/Registered Nurses - Advanced Certificate or equivalent

  • Unqualified candidates must be willing to get the Perioperative Nursing training
