Job Description: The Registered Dietitian reports to the Regional Director of Primary Health Care or his/her designate. The Registered Dietitian is responsible for the provision of nutrition assessments, counselling, consultations, teaching, and educational services to community members and employees. The Registered Dietitian is also responsible for assessing the needs of the community and coordinating, planning, implementing, and evaluating nutrition based programs in the community related to health promotion, disease prevention, and disease management.

Education

  • Dietetic Internship certificate
  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
