Job Description:

Performs a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Specialty disciplines are: Mammography, Angiography (IR), Computerized Tomography Additional Information: Rotation may involve shifts through the general x-ray department. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call as required. Should the employer be unable to recruit a qualified applicant, other applicants who would be willing to obtain the required qualifications within a specified timeframe, at their own expense, may be considered. Education

  • Medical Radiologic Technology diploma (MRT)

Licenses

  • Registered College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan
  • Registered with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists

Other Education and Training

  • CAMRT CT courses 1 and 2 are required
  • Drug administration and intravenous injection training, where required

Competencies
