Job Description: As a member of the Interdisciplinary Team, and under the general direction of the Addictions Counsellor - Degree (Alcohol & Addictions Services Worker), the primary goal will be to restore, maintain and enhance the recovery of people seeking help for addiction and/or addiction related issues by implementing various modalities of addiction recovery programs. Responsibilities include providing informational programming as well as individual and group counselling sessions with clients.

Education

  • Chemical Dependency diploma

Other Education and Training

  • Completed social sciences or human services discipline acceptable to employer

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
