Job Description

The Associate Medical Clinic is looking for a Family Physician (Full-time) to join our established clinic with a large patient base. We are a private clinic in the Prince Albert Health Region. The Physician will accept all duties pertaining to the general practice of medicine.

Job Qualifications

All candidates must obtain the necessary License from the College of Physician and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).

Additional Information

The Associate Medical Clinic is currently made up of 11 family physicians (2 currently on maternity leave), and 5 general surgeons.

Our Clinic has been serving the City of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan as well as surrounding communities for over 50 years. Our patients are treated in a welcoming professional environment with access to minor laboratory services, electrocardiograms, and audiograms. Our treatment room is adequately equipped to perform minor surgical procedures. We are also up to date with electronic medical records (Accuro). Being part of a group practice you have the added support from fellow physicians for consultations on difficult cases if you choose. The other tenants in the Medical Building include a Pharmacy, an Internist/Geriatrics, Obstetricians/Gynecologists, a Dental Surgeon and 2 Dentists which makes it an ideal location for our clinic.

Affiliation with the University of Saskatchewan offers teaching opportunities to Medical Students and Residents. There are also opportunities to work in ambulatory care, emergency room, obstetrics as well as surgical assists.

At our clinic, your income would be based on your MCIB billings and third-party billings per month with a competitive overhead structure. There is reduced overhead on all obstetrical billings. Our call schedule is approximately 1 in 9.
