Job Description: This position reports clinically and administratively to the Manager of Child and Youth Services and is located out of the Autism Services Division of Mental Health Outpatient Services. The position is a multi-located with provision of services occurring at the Autism Services Division of the Mental Health Outpatient Centre, within the schools of the Saskatchewan Rivers School Division and in family homes. Performance of duties will be within the scope of professional occupational therapy practice. Duties may include attendance at interdisciplinary meetings both internally and externally as it relates to client centered care planning, provision of in-services/education sessions, written documentation (as per policy) with respect to specialized reports and case notes and additional duties as required. Specialized training in clinical interventions with children, youth and families experiencing developmental challenges and mental health disorders would be an asset.

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Competencies

  • Basic - Writing skills
  • Basic - Verbal communication skills

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Knowledge in education and program development, implementation and evaluation
  • Ability to work independently

  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
