Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Respiratory Therapist - Diploma $38.647 to $47.144

Job Description: The Respiratory Therapist is accountable for the operation of the respiratory service and provides effective, safe and accurate treatment of patients with respiratory and cardiac problems.The Respiratory Therapist reports to the Manager, Cinical Services ICU/PACU.

Education

  • Respiratory Therapy diploma (RT)

Licenses

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to utilize specific program equipment

  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
  • Registered/eligible with Saskatchewan College of Respiratory Therapist (SCRT)
  • Registered/eligiblewith the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapist (CSRT)
