Job Description: Accountable for the provision of direct clinical mental health and addictions services to children, youth, adults and their families. This position will perform generalized social work services as assigned. These services will include individual, group and family counseling, case management, and public education. The position is part of a multi-disciplinary team comprised of psychiatric nurses, social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists and functions within the practice principles of the mental health and addiction services program management.

Experience

  • 1 year experience in the area of mental health and addiction services

Education

  • Master of Social Work (MSW)

Memberships

  • Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)

Competencies

  • Basic - Interpersonal skills

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Knowledge in clinical theory and best practice

Other Information

  • Experience with children, youth and families is preferred.
