Job Description: The Administrative Assistant is accountable for contributing to the efficient operation of the department by providing secretarial, organizational and administrative support services.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • 3-5 years experience in an administrative support position

Education

  • Grade 12 plus graduation from an approved Office Education training program

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Typing speed of 65 - 70 wpm
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to effectively manage a large volume of work
  • Ability to act professionally, ethically and provide sound judgement
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
