Job Description: The Assessor Coordinator is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region through provision of safe quality care to clients. He/she is responsible for the provision of assessment, intervention, brief counseling, advice, information and referral about Saskatchewan Mental Health and Addictions Services to callers/clients from all age groups.

Experience

  • 2 years working experience in community mental health and addictions services

Education

  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)

Other Education and Training

  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
  • Training/experience in Addictions Counseling/Suicide Intervention is preferred
  • Typing speed 25 words per minute

  • Clinical knowledge in mental illness, addictions, interventions and treatments.
