Job Summary

Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls for service within the community and provides assessment, treatment and transportation in adherence Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations and organization policies, procedures and protocols.

Education

Grade 12 or equivalent. Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic/Advanced Care Paramedic currently licensed in the Province of Saskatchewan. Current CPR level C". Current ACLS and PALS. Current ITLS - Advanced.

Licenses
  • Valid Class 4 driver's license and Emergency Vehicle Operations training.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Physically fit.

  • Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body
  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
