Job Description

We are a well-established independent clinic with a strong commitment to patient-centered care. Our retiring physician has been serving the community for decades and is excited to pass on their extensive knowledge to a passionate and dedicated physician.

We are seeking a General Practitioner to join our practice and provide high-quality medical care to our diverse patient population. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician at any stage in their career, including those who are just starting out. The retiring physician is open to mentoring and will be available to provide guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition and continued excellence in patient care.

The successful applicant will concentrate on providing exceptional care to the retiring physician's patients. During the transition period, the retiring physician will cover office overheads and cost-sharing, allowing them to focus on patient care without the immediate financial burden.

The successful candidate will be expected to uphold our tradition of excellent patient care and will participate in an on-call coverage system designed to support both patient needs and physician well-being. In addition to patient care, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to take over the building lease, rebrand the clinic, and modify operating hours to align with their personal and professional goals.

On-Call Coverage:

  • Coverage is provided among a group of three physicians.
  • The on-call schedule occurs every third week, starting Friday at noon until the following Friday at noon.
  • The incoming physician will continue this arrangement until all parties agree to an alternative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate medical care to the retiring physician's patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with the retiring physician for a smooth transition and mentorship.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation with fellow physicians to support patient needs.

Why Join Us?

  • Benefit from a supportive environment with experienced colleagues willing to mentor.
  • Enjoy a well-structured on-call system that prioritizes work-life balance.
  • Opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and the community.
  • Focus on ongoing patient care with the ability to shape the future of the clinic.
  • Flexibility to adjust hours and rebrand the practice as you see fit.

Job Qualifications
