Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band 11 $22.600 to $24.210 (3 step range)

Job Description: Provides technical expertise and acts as a liaison with the Operating Rooms (OR). Inspects, cleans, assembles, tests and sterilizes surgical instruments/implants/equipment for surgeries. Orders and maintains implant inventory for surgical services.

Experience

  • One (1) year working in a Medical Device Reprocessing department to learn proper
  • cleaning techniques, handling/assembly/disassembly of instruments/equipment

Education

  • Medical Device Reprocessing Technician - Certificate of Achievement

  • Basic - Computer skills
  • Communication skills

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently
