Job Description: MSU provides an intermediate level of care requiring basic cardiac monitoring skills with integrated medical surgical nursing knowledge to support medical patients with higher acuity care needs.

Education
  • Adult ECG interpretation from an accredited course is required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
Other Information
  • Examples include CCNP; Level 3 of APEX Innov Impulse 2.0.
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
