Job Description: MSU provides an intermediate level of care requiring basic cardiac monitoring skills with integrated medical surgical nursing knowledge to support medical patients with higher acuity care needs.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • Recent critical care experience desired

Education

  • Adult ECG interpretation from an accredited course is required - including but not limited to BCCNP, CV component of BCCNP, CCNP, early exit option of CCNP, Level 3 of Apex Innovation impulse 2.0 are required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
