Job Summary

The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse provides direct patient care and facilitates the provision of care by supporting, counselling and guiding personnel, patients and their responsible others; will be required to develop and facilitate groups, establishing and maintaining nursing practice standards and other related duties.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable

Experience

  • Applicants with recent acute mental health nursing experience and PART desired.

Other Information

  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) or registered/eligible with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of SK (RPNAS).
  • Scheduled hours of work may be reduced (if applicable) during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
