Job Description: The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Under the direction of the Manager, the Clinical Coordinator integrates knowledge, skill and research into the development and delivery of quality, client centered care. The incumbent will provide visible, proactive leadership and promote the delivery of client centered care to the patients and families served by the Pediatric Outpatient Department. In collaboration with their Manager, the Coordinator is responsible for assessing the needs of the program, its staff and clients by planning, implementing and evaluating its day to day function. The Coordinator will use a consultative approach and research findings to provide support to health care professionals as appropriate.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of recent experience in pediatric nursing. Minimum of one (1) year experience in program, education, and resource development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an adult educator role or providing education to professional teams preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Other Education and Training

  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
